Located near Casablanca’s affluent district of Anfa, this mixed-use development takes advantage of its magnificent natural setting on the Atlantic coast to create a new meeting point for the city.

The landscape is designed to reconnect the urban environment with the sea, breaking down the barrier between the road and the beach. Spaces are carved into the cliff under the existing cornice, stepping down to the shore through a series of terraces.

Gustafson Porter executed the concept design for this project. Near the shore, fluid planting is interspersed with water. At the cliff, water diminishes, as if the ship-like buildings have been washed up by a storm. In courtyards and private gardens, trees to offer natural shade and shelter from sea breezes.
